Question for those with leather car seats
Did your car seat scratch your leather? Does anyone use those car seat mats to avoid them or you just did without? DH insisted on them....but I think it may be a waste of money.
Thoughts? TIA!

Question for those with leather car seats
I got the cheap leather protectors for DHs car. So far they're working we'll. I think it was about $10.

Re: Question for those with leather car seats
We use nothing... When we take car seats out to clean there are indentations on the leather but it is what it is...

Re: Question for those with leather car seats
my seat is slightly scratched from the car seat.
I originally had the protector sheets but when I went to get the car seat inspected, they said it wasn't safe. Car Seats are tested directly against the seat and they don't know how safe they are with the protector in between.

Question for those with leather car seats
It wrecked my friends leather seats so I use a seat protector from BRU and I think its worth it. Protects it perfectly and havent had any issues with safety.

This. We removed our protectors after finding this out.

We have the Prince Lionheart car seat protector under DD's carseat. Works well.

I got them at BRU but I don't know what brand they are, just that they weren't more than $15.

Same. The seats will be there for YEARS, so it doesn't really matter!
Also, just so you know, I don't believe the mats are recommended as they can compromise the safety of the car seat (like many of the add-ons).
