You need to know that you are NOT alone. I had those same awful feelings. It's called D-MER, and they have a website. The worst times left me feeling depressed and "homesick" for lack of a better word. BFing was horrible for me even though I had a great supply.
Holy sh!t...I had no idea this feeling had a name or that others experienced it!
Don't mean to hijack but I am in SHOCK. I always have this weird emotional hard to describe feeling during the inital letdown and I had no idea...Wow.
It's awful, isn't it? And NO ONE talks about it!
 for you, I wish more OBs and peds knew about it.
