dental x rays
Just found out I'm pregnant! It came unexpected. We were going to start trying in the new year, but I think my rythmn method was off.
I'm worried b/c I went to the dentist Saturday and got novicane and 3 x rays.

Same thi happened to me with dd. I would tell your dr but I wouldn't worry. They cover you before the X-ray not sure about the novicane but as long as you are not getting it everyday I'm sure you are fine. Again mention it to your dr but try not to stress. My dd is fine!

I wouldnt worry, novicane doesnt cross the placenta... i also had xrays, my dr said its not something he would do if he thought there was any concern.

I wouldn't worry. If you just found out, and are under 8 weeks or so, there is no blood crossing yet (placenta not fully functional yet) so the novicane won't effect the baby. As far as the xrays go, I wouldn't worry about those either because I'm sure you had a vest on anyway, and the xray itself was pointed at your mouth. I had 4 xrays taken of my lower back when I was barely pregnant (didn't find out until the week after) and my  is doing great so far (I am just over 30 weeks) and that was pointed right at my abdomen!!
