anyone conceive day or so after AF ended?
hi everyone...i am using another name other than the one i usually use, to keep this question hidden and also to follow the TTC and pregnancy chats...i have been talking to DH about TTC baby #3 . 1st child we used an OPK and got preggo 2nd baby was an unexpected surprised, we were not TTC... i hear mixed things about getting pregnant the day after AF has ended...has anyone ever experienced this or does anyone know anything about this? i have searched the internet and i get mixed answers! Last night we  and it was the day my AF ended ...i read that sperm can live 3-5 days so if an egg is dropped there is a possibility but then i also read usually 10-14 days the egg is dropped, so just curious if anyone TIA if anyone has an answer!

anyone conceive day or so after AF ended?
Over the summer I was seeing an RE and when I went in for monitoring, my sono showed that I had ovulated even though it was CD3 right after coming off BCP. Anything is possible!!

It's possible but not that likely. The average woman prob has a 5 day AF (CD 6 would be the day after). The high fertility days are usually CD 10-14. Everyone is different of course, but its more rare to ovulate THAT soon after AF. I'm sure its happened though!
I know that I managed to not get PG for 3 years without being on any birth control and just watched my cycles. I never became pg right after AF ended but the second we tried for a baby (during high fertility days) I got pg 2 out of my 3 pregnancies. My second son took a few months to conceive, but the other two were right away. HTH

i usually get AF for about 7-8 days and im never regular...one month its a 28 day cycle the next 33 days its always been like this so its always been so hard to track when AF is coming or when i Ovulate....i was actually talking to my mom and she said as soon as her AF ended she got pregnant with my sister and she was TTC for 6 months and the min she stopped tracking her fertile days she got preggo right after AF...she said you are very fertile right after which is still extremely confusing to me when everyone says you are not. i guess we will see what happens !

yup, i did, when i was a lot younger..it was about 1-2 days after af ended

wow...ok, if you dont mind me asking, how old were you? i am 31 my mom was 28 when she got pregnant right after AF and i JUST got off the phone w my cousin she said she got pregnant BOTH pregnancies the day after AF ended too...starting to think this is something that may run in my family ! my cousin was 30 when it happend to her
