OMG What a way to meet the neighbors!
So my dog, who is a mushy Golden Retriever somehow got out the front door today! I go to walk out the front door and see my dog across the street wrestling with the neihbors boxer on his front lawn!! I go to get him and their child opened the door and my dog ran into their house! It was all so awkward! LOL They ran in to get him and I kind of waited on the front stoop. Trying to bring him home his collar broke and eventually my husband, who was taking my kids out had to run over and carry my 97lb dog home! LOL

Oh my!!!!!! Well at least you will have something to talk about.
It makes you feel any better I first met my neighbor in an awkward way too. I was sitting on my couch breast feeding my twins (showing it all basically) when our doorbell rang at 9 pm. Our neighbor (a woman) came over to tell us our tree was on fire in the backyard! My dh ran to the back leaving me basically shirtless with her!!! I was mortified

OMG! LMAO! That is awkward and hysterical! How did your tree end up on fire btw?
I actually ended up walking to school with her today where she said something like... her husband saw my dog outside and he was friendly so they let their dog out on purpose so they could play.

There was a storm and it was really windy and the LIPA wires were rubbing on the tree enough to put it on fire! LIPA cut down the tree for us.
Glad she had a sense of humor about it. Maybe it will be your "ice breaker" and you will be friendly with eachother.
