DS is all over the house overnight learned to crawl and is everywhere. I bought a play yard (5 feet side to side) for living room. We have a small house, it takes up most of the living room. DH does not like it. DS only tolerates it sometimes. Debating to keep it or not. I already have a gate blocking living room to kitchen, I could get one more for living room dining room. Then I can secure the tv wires better and put the curtains higher and make the living room super duper safe so I am not saying no/moving him constantly...or keep trying the play yard?? He recently had surgery and not allowed bouncers, saucers, etc so what do I do when I need to leave the room..bathroom, something to drink, etc? can he stay loose in a super baby proofed living room? keep the play yard for just those times, something smaller? even if he can be in a bouncer, sooner than later he'll be walking and not going in those gadgets..would he tolerate the play yard then? i have to super baby proof everything anyway? right? I am not sure why I am so stuck on this...except he turned 8 months in the blink of an eye ....

what do you do?
