Re: Moms of 2 or more

The exact opposite (and they are both boys). Pregnancy 1-zero symptoms. Pregnancy 2-morning sickness, sciatica, hemmhroids, etc etc etc

Re: Moms of 2 or more

DS#1 was pretty easy, no complications, worked up until 1 week before my due date, vaginal delivery.

DS#2 was a little more tricky, had placenta previa, low fluids (hospitalized on and off), bedrest from week 32 on and a c-section delivery.

My second pregnancy was much, much easier on me. I was way more tired the last few weeks though because I was chasing my 2 1/2 year old around & I was contracting on & off a lot.

My deliveries were completely different too. My first ds was 15 days early & took 19 hours from my water breaking until delivery. My second took 90 min from my first strong contraction until delivery (my water broke in L&D)

Moms of 2 or more

Both were a breeze. With my first, I had about 2 weeks of mild nausea on and off in the beginning, never threw up or anything though. I also had some minor lightheadedness. I worked right up until I went into labor, which was 4 days past my due date. With my second, I had nausea in the beginning that was more intense than my first, but lasted a shorter period, maybe a week or so. Again, never threw up. I had a few more symptoms with my second throughout the pregnancy (carpal tunnel, swelling in my hands, feet, and vagina), but I attribute that to my body being a little older and more worn-in and my second baby being a pound and a half heavier than my first. I also gained a lot more weight with my second, but had less hair growth (on my belly, face, etc.)

Re: Moms of 2 or more

both easy, although contractions started early with #2 at 34 weeks and continued until i had him at 38 weeks.

Otherwise fine. No issues. I probably started to get tired that last week.

deliveries were a piece of cake, especially #2. Got to the hospital at 8am and had him at 9:01am. Chat Icon

Totally different. I carried different, gained only in my belly with the second, different side-effects, different labor....different girls!

Re: Moms of 2 or more

First was a total breeze. Second wasn't THAT bad but nowhere near as easy as my first. I felt more tired, achier, and overall more uncomfortable. I'm sure a lot of it had to do with the fact that I was chasing a very energetic toddler around all day.
