Crashing: New Mom Casseroles
My cousin is in labor! What was your favorite new mom casserole...the ones you could just pop in the oven when you first came home from the hospital?

My husband's cousin made us a baking dish of yummy enchiladas! It was mild, which was good since I was trying to breast feed and was staying away from spicy foods. She also gave us a bag of Mexican cheese and sour cream to go with it. It was very thoughtful and very yummy!

Beef stew! I know it's not really a casserole, but you could toss it in a baking dish, warm it up, and viola! One-dish dinner.

Ooo beef stew is a good one. And I know it's not a casserole either but I had a lot of chicken soup the week pp. very comforting and tmi but I thought all that warm liquid would help my first pp poop lol
Other ideas
Chicken pot pie
Shepards pie
A really yummy, home made, baked Mac & cheese
And you have the right idea, food was the best gift!

no one made me one... but baked ziti sounds really good. IL's always use to freeze leftovers after their parties.
