New Mom to be crashing - Cord Blood Related
Hi -
I was wondering if any of you would be able to help me out...
If you happened to bank your baby's cord blood and used Viacord or CBR, is there a reason why you chose one over the other?

we opted for CBR because they were a little larger than Viacord at the time. they had banked more blood, and had a few more cases where they used the blood etc. also we felt CBR answered questions better than the reps from viacord when we spoke to them. i had looked into some smaller companies, but my OB warned me that sometimes they don't make it, she had one place locally that went under, and then there is a question of what they do with the banked cord blood. we figured CBR is large enough we shouldn't have that problem.
