SAHM ... How do you spend the day with you LO?

I'm a SAHM and DS is 2. I feel like I'm in a day-to-day rut with activities. We go to library classes, playdates, work on art projects at home, play at the park, read books and general errands throughout the day.


Is there anything that I'm missing?

Sounds like my day! I pretty much do the same.........run errands, meet up with my girlfriend and her kids sometimes, take DD to the library, play around the house, read, do arts and crafts, etc. Keeps us busy!

I am on maternity leave and that sounds like my day with my toddler.

DS is 14 months. This summer we are doing a music together class on tuesdays and a my gym class on thursdays. We have also been to tobay beach and the sprinkler park there, long island children's museum, my parents pool, coney island aquarium, white post farms, the park, walks around the neighborhood, we play with his water table & kiddie pool. Next week we are trying the Queens Zoo. On days when we stay in, I sometimes invite my BFF over to keep us company- she is a teacher and off for the summer. We will hang out at my inlaws. He loves to color. And sometimes, we just veg in the living room and DS watches yo gabba gabba while I do laundry.

We hang out in the yard, watch shows, library, run errands. I take them to my mothers house every other week, or my inlaws. We meet up with cousins on the weekends. My dh is around during the week so we go to tobay or the pool late afternoon. This summer has been more relaxed simply because I'm very tired And my dh is around to play w the kids here and there during the day. Last summer we were out every single day , this summer I am more lazy!

twins / 11months

playdates, music class, swimming, gymboree, family over, visiting family, parks, bbq's, i have a few friends with kids same age so we get together pretty often, even if its just for lunch and hanging at the baby pool. I bought the pass for aquarium and zoos. white post. sprinklers, there seems to be a birthday party every single wknd. we also have a few long weekend vacations, to our house upstate, lake george and MAYBE florida. i feel like i am always running. so i usually try to take one day a week to stay home and relax but half way thru i go nuts and take a long walk with my men my summer flew

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday my kids have/had pre-school 9:15-11:45 (DS will be in kindergarten in the fall). They have been in camp for the summer. I take them to gymnastics and swim lesions. In the past we had music class and library time too. We have play dates with friends once a week/every two weeks. In the summer, weather permitting, I take them to the pool about 3 times a week. We also go to the park too. I do art work (paint, color, draw, play-dough, stickers) with them. I read to them and am trying to teach my son to read sight words. We play board games and with toys. I cook with them (teaches math and following directions). I also try to take them to museums as well.
