SAHM: How do you spend the day with your LO?

DS is almost 2. During the summer, we were at local parks and playgrounds almost everyday. Now that's winter, I feel the cabin fever starting

We are involved in library programs and in playgroups. Is there anything else we should be doing?

I go to the gym and let DD who just turned 2 spend an hour in the childcare room. Its great for both of us!

Mon: gym daycare for 2 hours, then lunch with friends
Tue: school, lunch and amgen with friends or cousins
Wed: gym daycare, lunch, friends
Thu: school
Fri: gym daycare, then she goes to her aunts house for a sleep over

There are days where MIL will take her overnight as well. But for the most part we stay busy everyday

DS is in school, so I dont worry about entertaining him, but when he's off on vacation we do playdates

We go to the gym a couple times a week. They love the childcare there.

DD#1 goes to pre-k 3 full days, on the other 2 she goes to dancing school, a sports class and swimming lessons

DD#2 - takes a gymnastics type class. We just finished a Music Together session. In July she starts nursery school.

We spend the morning at home until 10ish then we go out to the park if weather is nice, Fridays my library has a singalong, I just signed up for my gym on Fridays, we have play dates usually outside but we will start alternating homes. We go to the library in the afternoons sometimes to read and play. Shopping. We keep busy. Alot of afternoons we hang out at home cleaning up and stuff especially b/c now it's dark so early

Dd is 19 months

playdates, walks if it's nice out, library programs.

took ds to the airport the other day just to show him the planes & air train during the day.

there's le play café in bellmore too - indoor playroom on one side, lounge seats for mama's on the other side and a half wall in-between - brilliant.

he wakes up 8-9AM - eat,burp diaper, change
sometimes he'll go back to sleep for about an hour, sometimes not. he has jumperoo time, tummy / crawl training time, read or just talk to him & play with him then eat and we pretty much keep that rotation until bedtime with me attempting to clean & bathe in between.. if I have to run errands he comes with me. we just finished up our tuesday sign language classes.

I am a Discovery Toys consultant on the side so I am often posting / working on the website during down time. We used to go for walks in town when the weather was nice just so I could get a cup of coffee before starting the day.
