Things to do for Twin boys @ 8 months old??
We are not home buddies & love to go out. Any ideas on what you can do with your twins at this age? I would love to take them to the kiddie pool but think it would be to hard with two since they don't walk yet. Do any pools allow floats? We go to the malls often-gets boring. It's hot for parks although we do go there. Any suggestions????

My 8 month old DD loves the beach. I slather her in 60+ sunscreen and we sit under an umbrella but she just loves to sit and watch everything going on around her.
We have a small inflatable pool the she also loves. It cost $13 on Amazon. <--------------------- I set it up in the sun to warm up the water and then move it to the shade.

Petco! Free, air-conditioned and they will love it!
Swings at a playground.
Put them in wagon and do boardwalk at beach.
Get smart trikes and take them for walks. I was able to push 2 smart trikes at once.
PS---If you think kiddie pool = tough without them walking, wait until they are walking----they'll be going in 2 different directions! lol

My 8 month DS loves music, so we do a lot of the music based free programs or concerts at the libraries. Also, we swim in the bay with the floats.

My twins are 10 months and I will not take them anywhere near water on my own. I am too afraid now that they are crawling and pulling up on everything.
We go to gymboree 2x a week - one day is a gym class and one is a music class. Gym class isn't easy on my own but the teachers help if they can.
If its not too hot out, my boys like the baby swings at the park.

Which library has music programs? I have not seen that listed. We did just sign for mother goose library time.

I'm way out east, but check around. We did two music programs (basically like music together) at Quogue and have been to two concerts at Hampton Bays.
