...and i thought the 2WW was bad!!
Everything looked great at my 7 week sonogram - everything was exactly where it should be, measured where it should based on my lmp, heartbeat was 156... amazing!!
I won't have another sonogram for another 4 1/2 weeks and the thought of waiting and not knowing is so hard for me, especially considering that I keep reading things online about the reality of how things can go wrong...
anyone else experience this? any tips for how to get through it?

I had weekly sonos from 5-8 weeks. Now I also have to wait for 12 weeks for my NT scan.
However, once you see the hb at 8 weeks, the chance of miscarriage goes down to 3% so I feel ok waiting. I just keep focused on how much the baby is going to change over the next month and try to get excited, not nervous.
As long as you're not having any major bleeding and cramping, I wouldn't worry. Try to relax and enjoy being pg!

This PG I had a sono at 7 weeks and didn't have another til 20 weeks. I thought I would go nuts, but I kept myself occupied and kept talking to the baby. You can make it and know that so many moms do!

My last sono the entire pregnancy was at 20 weeks. I'm almost 26 weeks now and can't handle this!!!!!! I want to see the baby again!!!!!! We're thinking of buying a sono for an anniversary present to ourselves.
As far as between 8 w and 12 w, it's really hard. I just counted days and ate a lot of cookies and got fat.

I had my first sono today at 7w3d and I'll have another one next Thursday at 8w3d but after that not again until the NT scan... I will probably go nuts.

yup i had a sono at a 6 week appointment for spotting; and then another one at my 8 week. I went back at 10 weeks for more spotting so i got another sono; but my 12 week check up was just w/the doppler so at least I got to hear the baby. Next week is my NT scan so at least I get to see him/her then. After that i don't know if I'll get a sono at my 16 week or if it's just nother doppler and check up.

My last sono was at 9 weeks, and my 12 week NT Scan is this saturday!!
It has been the longest 3 weeks of my lifeeeee!!!

My last sono was at 12w and now I'm impatiently waiting for the anatomy scan which isn't until 7/30. I thought waiting for the NT was tough, but going 8.5 weeks without any idea of what's going on inside is much harder.
I'll probably feel better when I can start feeling some kicks.

...and i thought the 2WW was bad!!
It was so hard waiting for the 12 week sono! I felt like I couldn't relax and really let myself feel pregnant until we got to that sono and could see the baby moving around and be reassured that everything was progressing normally. But once you get to that point, it's such a relief!

Thanks, my BFF is pregnant too and she gets sonos every two weeks, I've only gone once... and not again for 4 weeks... so it's tough... but obviously i'm not alone, so i'll just keep hoping and praying for now! Thanks ladies
