Ever get somebody a gift you're so excited about that waiting to give it to them is torture?
Ahh! I'm bursting to tell DH what I got him because he's going to be shocked and I have to make it another two weeks

I love that feeling and wish I could feel it more often. It just seems that I never have anything fantastic to give anyone because people just seem to buy themselves what they want throughout the year. Or, everyone either wants money or giftcards because they want to just pick out stuff themselves.
I have mixed feelings. I will admit I feel the same at times  but the excitement for the giver is taken away.

ETA: I gave Shaun his wedding gift 3 months early lol

YES! One year I was so excited that I got my boyfriend a digital camera(this was over 20 years ago when they were still pretty amazing!).
We were at Wendy's having chili and I didn't realize that I was saying it out loud or something(can't remember- long time ago) but I was so excited, I blurted out,I hope your camera was shipped today
He said the look on my face was priceless when I realized what I did- he laughed so hard he spit chili all over me. 
Ok- did all that typing and realized this was one of those "had to be there" moments

Yes!! I get like that every time I buy something for DH. He is so hard to shop for so when I find something I know he will love I just about burst waiting for him to open it.

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!! I totally understand and I think you should tell all of us what it is that you got him instead !!
For me, it was the claddagh ring I got for my first boyfriend.  I could not stand having it without telling him so I blurted it out long before our anniversary, when I planned on giving it to him.

Yes- I am surprising DH with concert tix for one of his faves- the day I ordered the tickets I was so close to spilling. Now it's easier.  Though he saw the envelope in the mail so he knows it's tickets. It actually took a little pressure off me for him to at least get a hint.

YES!!! Especially this year because we are telling our families the sex of baby #2 on Christmas. They dont even know that we know yet so I am DYYYIINNGGGGGG.

OMG yes. Like 3 months ago I bought DH a new hunting shotgun (the one he has been drooling over for like 5 years) and I have been itching to tell him. I cannot wait to see his face!!!

Yes-My 3 year old DD. We just bought her a delux kitchen set with appliances that make noise and dishes. She always makes us fake food and I know her face is going to light up
And for Older DD there is a game we told her is sold out--so to see her face as well is worth it.
