How soon before baby us born do you choose your doc?
I'm 13 weeks just wondering when I should get everything set up with the pediatrician

We did a tour and discussion around 30 weeks. I think it's usually in the 3rd trimester.

I did it literally like days before DD was born. Just called up an office by my house. I was told I didn't have to do anything bc there was always one of their Peds on call at my hospital. I just needed to tell the hospital I was going to use that office and that was it. Very simple. I went with recommendation from girls on here.

It was only a few weeks before DD was born. We knew who we were going to use because its the practice my SIL used for all of her kids. I would start sooner than that if you are going to interview several doctors but early 3rd trimester should be enough time.

I didn't pick one until I had DS. I was 3 weeks early and had just received recs from people. So I went with one fo the recs and figured if we don't like them we can always change.
I don't think it is the bggest deal in the world. Cause you can change with no issues.

we already decided we were going to use DH's old pediatricians office.. it is right in the neighborhood, a couple of the Dr's that DH used to see are still there and a couple of our friends take their kids there. i wanted to use my old pediatrician bc he still practices as well, but DH's has a sick and a well office so that sold me 
we haven't contacted them yet tho, just made the decision that that is who we are going to go with

i had appointments set up for 36w with the doctor i knew i would go with. i ended up delivering at 33w so i never actually set it up and it still worked out fine.

My obgyn requires we give them the name of the pediatrician we choose by 28 weeks

Cut it way too close... picked ours a week before DD was born.
Start interviewing at 30ish weeks, just in case.

Picked ours a couple of weeks before DS was born. Turned out Dr I picked did not visit the hospital I delivered in.
(After my son was born the Dr I picked went out of town I was so upset but it turned out the Dr. that subbed for her I LOVED way more than my original Dr so I landed up switching and my DS has been with this Dr ever since, in a different office, closer to my home to boot)
