Did you take a break from TTC after having a MC?
Just looking for some perspective...
DH wants to continue TTC as soon as we get clearance, but I'm so undecided. I want to be pregnant SO BAD, but I am just so scared to have another MC. How do you shake this feeling and move forward? Will I ever feel "ready"?

i'm sorry for your loss it's really a personal decision about whether or not you start TTC right away. i will say though that you may never feel 100% "ready" but in my experience you just move forward anyway. i've had several losses and i'm petrified of it happening again but not moving on won't prevent what is destined to happen (good or bad).

we were scared every time after a loss but we kept going and even know that we are pregnant we r still scared and will be scared until they are born\
it is such a personal decision and no right or wrong answer

I agree with what the others have said. I think that taking some time from the loss to just relax and maybe take a vacation is a good idea, but honestly no matter when you start over you're going to feel very nervous. There's really no way around it. Even now having someone else who will be carrying my baby, I still feel very nervous that something can happen.
Unfortunately, experience makes you learn the hard way just how precious a pregnancy can really be

Thanks for your responses girls! I actually left my OBs office today with a prescription for BCP... which makes no sense bc I can't conceive naturally. My DH was shocked when I told him... I think that in itself tells me that maybe I should take a break. You are so right, no matter when we start, I'm going to be a nervous wreck and what is meant to be will be.

We were the reverse. I wanted to try again as soon as we got clearance (I had to wait 3 months) and DH wanted to wait. We actually fought about it.
Ultimately I let it go and about a month after the clearance he came to me and told me he was ready again.
But we were super scared. I don't think you ever feel ready. I went on and had  and was super nervous the entire pregnancy.
We are thinking of trying again and am still scared of having another MC.
I have discovered unless someone has been through it, they can't really understand. I'm sorry.

As everyone already said; it's really a personal choice. With both miscarriages, we started trying as soon as we got the OK from the doctor. It just depends upon how you and DH feel. Dont rush it if you're not ready; as everyone knows, TTC is a super emotional ordeal; no need to add any EXTRA stress if you're not 100% sure!

I am sorry for your loss.
It's been 5 months and we are still on a break. After 4 years of not a single pregnancy to only lose it without a reason was vey hard for us. I am starting to get excited again and the fear and pain is less and less each day. We are thinking of July/Aug for our next transfer, and like always going in with a positive mentality, because in reality that's all we can do.
You will start to feel "normal" again and when you do you will know it and not even realize how it happened. Day by day is the best advice I can give, because that's waht has been helping. Worrying or fearing something that Might happen, doesn't do anyone any good.
