onto a new plan

DH and I met with my RE yesterday to discuss the new protocol after my first IVF cycle failed. She explained that I stimmed great and they were happy with the number of eggs and 2/3 of them did fertalize but the quality of the embryos were a problem. She feels that at my age of 37 my eggs are acting older than they should be. So for my next cycle she wants to change my meds to what she would do for an older patient. She said I would be on Lupron, meanpur, and follistism...not sure of the spelling on them.... up the doses on the meds, and have the embryos grow in a pixie dish (she said that was the recommendation of the embryologist). She hopes we would get more embryos and suggested that if we get 3 or 4 transferable ones that we put them all back after doing assisted hatching. My head is still swimming. I told her I wanted to wait until the school year is done, and start over the summer. I am still kicking around the idea of going to get another opinion but my DH doesn't want me to give up on her just yet.
