I would. I had family and friends close by just in case I went early. Let him have his last horray before the baby comes

Yes. No need to hold him prisoner for 2 months before the due date. AC isn't that far away.

Re: Would you let...
It depends. If I was pregnant with my 1st kid then yes. But now that I have 19 month old twins I can use his help all the time. So I would probably not want him to go but I don't think I would straight out tell him he can't go.

DH went to Chicago and El Paso for work when I was in my third trimester with #1. A lot farther than a/c. He won't have many opportunities to go away once the baby is here, so definitely let him go! Maybe schedule your shower for that weekend!

Re: Would you let...
after 30 weeks, i think i would be very nervous but thats because we live pretty far from the hospital and also i have absolutely noone who is near me who could take me or be here quickly. friends are really far and i only have my mom who is very nervous driving, far and to my house including..plus shes nervous in general so i really wouldn't have any support.. but then again, i would also see how appointments were going and if there were any risks or any mentions that i could/should go early
maybe i would stay with family for the weekend or ask a family member to stay with me as a good option

Re: Would you let...
i would have no issues. heck, DH's best friends wedding is 14days before my due date and he might be going to california for 2 days if i can get some help to come here to help me with DD. the only reason it's a might is because i've been having contractions already and i'm only 27 weeks.

I don't like the word "let"...he is not a child. I would definitely not have a problem with him going away for the weekend with his friends.

Re: Would you let...
Definitely. It's not that far that he couldnt get home in time if you went into labor early. I would just make sure he doesnt drink and he has his own transportation, that way he could leave right away if he needs to.

Re: Would you let...
As long as I was healthy and no risk factors for preterm labor. I wouldn't give him a hard time about it, let him go and have fun!
