If you moved from house when did you start packing??
Closing is June 12th... after the inspection is done and the contracts are final it is safe to start right?? What did you do?

right now. Today.
The day we signed the contract was the day I started packing (ok, a few days later).
You will regret waiting. Get all sorts of little stuff done now. Start going through everything.

I wanted to pack the minute we signed the contract. We're going on 2 months and keep getting delayed for one thing or another. Now, reading this I'm gonna start packing later today.

I started after we were in contract. I'm so glad I didn't wait because I can't believe how much stuff we have.

same here....you dont realize how much crap you have till you have to start packing it away.

The second we got an accepted offer.  That was in April and we closed the end of June.
I couldn't wait to get out of our apartment.

HA! We signed contracts about 2 months ago and we still have yet to start packing lol.
But we only live in a 1 br rental and aren't moving into the new home until next month regardless of when our actual closing is. (We're still waiting for a date  )

start packing as soon as you can. you have no idea how much stuff you accumulate until you start packing. try to start packing the stuff you don't use every day first so you can easily get that out of the way

Ok after the inspection on Monday and if all goes well we'll start then. This is not going to be easy!

We closed Oct 14 and we didn't start packing and moving until April 1. We gutted the house. We still haven't moved everything but all the furniture and some clothingare at the new house.

After we signed I started packing up things we did not use often..cleaned out the wall unit, closets etc.

We still haven't and we closed in April! We are painting and doing some cosmetic renovations and hope to move in about 3 weeks.
We are moving from a small apartment and have no room for boxes. I have been moving stuff we dont use/need over little by little.
I'll probably bring clothes over once the bedroom floors are done then pack everything else.
