I don't let myself sit down until I am done for the day. As soon as I start to sit or relax, it's over for me.

It sucks, but you just have to suck it up as best you can Chat Icon

Re: HOW TO GET RID OF THIS EXHAUSTION!!

I was sleeping at 6pm when I was 13 weeks and not waking up until the next morning. Nothing really helped for me, I didnt fight it and I took naps whenever I could. When I was at work and super exhausted and a nap didnt do anything I would get up and walk outside.

Could you wake a nice walk with your 2 year old? Maybe being outside will help perk you up.

It just takes time. You will get more energy shortly but enjoy it while you have it cause mine quickly disappeared in the 3rd trimester.

Re: HOW TO GET RID OF THIS EXHAUSTION!!

my exhaustion is still crazy.....

What I do is tell dh to force me to take a walk......Like every other day dh, ds and I take one, it could even just be around the block, or longer(with a possible Ralph's stop)Chat Icon

Otherwise I just sit at work, and sit on the couch myself.

my exhaustion is slowly getting better and i'm 24 weeks. i know in a few weeks its going to hit me again.

it's so difficult the second (third, etc) around because you're chasing around a child!

omg Linda, I'm 25 weeks and it STILL never went away this time! Sometimes I want to scream, cry and sleep all at the same time! I don't think its going to go away. I'm almost in the 3rd trimester already so this is not very enjoyable. At least it does go fast though! Chat Icon

Re: HOW TO GET RID OF THIS EXHAUSTION!!

I am going through the exact same thing and was just going to post the same question....

I feel as if I am more tired with this pregnancy than I was last time - but I guess that's cuz I too have an (almost) 2 year old to chase around.

I try to take a walk during my lunch break while at work. That seems to help me gert through the rest of the workday. But when I get home, it's all over for me! I cannot seem to function! If DH is home, I can atleast lay down for a little but but I feel like I am becomming so lazy. I just really cannot help it.

I hope we both start to feel better soon and get our energy back!

Re: HOW TO GET RID OF THIS EXHAUSTION!!

I remember being tired the first time, but this time around I feel like a zombie. All I want to do is sleep, and then I am up at night. Hope this stage passes fast.
