Mirrors Yay or Nay
So we are almost done in our dining room. The wall is very large and I can't find a single mirror big enough. So what do we think about the 2

At the current position, two people are going to be watching themselves eat. I'm not a fan of that. If you had them a little higher, it might be OK. Maybe if the hang from the same height, but rotate 90 degrees, so they are wider, but shorter.

When you turn them it goes almost wall to wall so it looks odd. And the one mirror wasn't big enough. The wall dwarfed it.

Maybe you can have one made? Sorry I'm not a fan of the 2. I think you need something substantial on that wall. Btw it came out lovely!

I agree, I think that wall needs something a bit more solid.
The room is really beautiful!! Maybe a bigger horizontal mirror with a fancier frame?

What about one mirror with candle sconces or something on each side? Love the way the room came out!

I wouldn't do 2 mirrors I would probably do 6 square smaller mirrors or 1 larger mirror like some that were posted already and sconces. Maybe a collection of fine chine plates in blue and white toile print hung on the wall.
I feel that the mirrors are kinda boring and don't do much for the room.
I would also look for brass colored frames to tie into the fixture.

The fixture above the table isn't staying. Not sure what will go there yet. I can't decide on that either!

why not some pictures?
2 mirrors look a bit odd to me, almost like windows, which if this was a room without windows, or much natural light, I think it would make sense.
I think a mirror centered, sconces flanking it, and a pic on each side.

I might be the odd one out but I actually like two mirrors there... but I would space them out more towards the edges and put something in between like a starburst, an intricate piece of some kind or a collection of small framed pics to fill the wall more.
