How are we all doing? Are you all ready?

I FINALLY got my butt in gear & washed all of ds' old clothes so that's all done. A lot of stuff yellowed in storage, so thank goodness for Oxyclean - it took a 5 hour soak, but it saved everything!

The nursery is just about set up - we just need to hang the pics/decals/name letters and organize the closet.

Other than that I think that I just need to install the car seat and wipe down the bassinet & PNP that were in the basement.

Oh yeah - and I have to clean the rest of the house...entirely. I had the energy to do the baby stuff because I let the rest of it all go to pot lol

Re: April Mommies

We're are getting there. The main things we need for the baby to come home to we have, but the nursery won't be completed until after I give birth. I didn't want to do a neutral theme nursery, and since we didn't find out the sex of our baby it will all be done once he or she is born.

I'm going to start washing all the clothes this weekend, pick up a few more last minute things from BBB and BRU and we should be good to go.

I just hit 35 weeks this past Saturday and I have to admit, I still feel pretty good.. I'm tired at night, but its expected.

We can't wait to meet our LO!

Re: April Mommies

Just had shower this past weekend...working on putting everything away in the nursery. Still have a few odds and ends to do and have to wash the clothes for our LO as well.

Speaking of washing clothes...how many items of what sizes are you washing? I dont want to take the tags off of everything and wash everything in case we dont end up using it...

Re: April Mommies

I haven't been doing well since falling last week and having a concussion Chat Icon
But my Chat Icon is doing just great.
I had my shower on Sunday and I don't know how I survived it! My head was killing me!
Anyway, Friday the furniture comes, the car seat base is already in the car, and one night this week DH will set up the bassinet.
19 days left! Chat Icon

Thank you Chat Icon
I can only take Tylenol, none of the good stuff! It helps to a certain point. I just need to stay away from bright lights and loud sounds, which brings on crazy migraines!
The doc in the emergency room said he hopes it goes away by the time I give birth! Chat Icon Chat Icon

Hey - you never know! With my 1st I had the same thing at my 37w appt and my water broke either that morning or the next night. Sigh...I'm getting old. I seriously can't remember if it was the same day or not Chat Icon

We're getting so close! Chat Icon

My shower was about 2 weeks ago. The nursery is finally done, hospital bags are packed, and all the hand-me-down clothes my friend gave me are washed and ready to go.

Just went for my 36w appointment yesterday and I'm 1cm dilated and 50% effaced! I would prefer it if this little guy stays put for another 2 weeks or so but after that, come on baby!

After such an easy 1st and 2nd trimester, I try not to complain about how uncomfortable I am now. Chat Icon Work is getting really hard since i'm on my feet all day and they keep swelling up. Looking forward to next Friday which will probably be my last day!Chat Icon

I had my shower and got so much cute stuff. I was blown away. I've been working on getting everything washed and put away. DH is hard at work to get our master bedroom reno finished- it should be done by Friday since our furniture is being delivered then! I can't wait to get everything settle and put away! Oh yeah, and get the baby stuff out and put together!

We're all getting so close! I'm so done!
The car seat is already installed and the baby's swing, bassinet, and bouncer is all put together and ready to go. The nursery is done but DH just needs to hang up the wall decor stuff and the valance. We also still need to get the shades for the windows. Hospital bag is packed and ready to go. We were ready a bit early with the immediate stuff only b/c at 31 weeks I started having pre-term contractions and was put on meds and bed rest. I came off the meds this past Sunday so we thought the baby would come right away but we're still waiting. I've def dropped and have been feeling a good deal of pressure in my hoo ha. On my last OB visit last week my cervix was soft and I was a fingertip dialated. I have another check up today so I'm curious to see if there has been any progress. I'm thinking I may be a March mommy though. But I'll always be an April mommy at heart with you girls!!
