Please help - 5 month old feeding schedule
Would you ladies please help me with my DS feeding schedule. My ped wasn't really any help in telling how much and how often he should be eating.
This is his schedule at the moment:
8ish -
6oz bottle with 2 tblsp of rice cereal (has been on it for reflux since 2 months old)
1-1 1/2 tblsp of Oatmeal mixed with formula
12ish -
6oz bottle with cereal
An ounceish (I make his food so I'm really not sure how much each little container is) of food depending on what he's on this particular day
4ish -
6oz bottle with cereal
Food same as noon
8:30pm -
6oz bottle with cereal and bed
He won't always finish the food so I'm not sure he's wanting to eat more. He does suck down his whole bottle and I feed him the bottle before he eats the food.
Now that he has tried more things, I'm trying to feed him a fruit at lunch and a vege at dinner.
Any suggestions on what I could be doing better/different? I'm at such a loss and I have no one IRL to ask.

That is my question. Is what I'm doing correct? Should I be spacing the bottle and the foods? I just don't have any guidance and I wanted to make sure I was on the right track.

I never had a schedule with my baby. Are you home with her during the day? I gave mine about 2 tbs of cereal in the morning and sometimes at night. She got about 5 oz of milk and around 6-7 bottles a day.

my twins are 6 months/4 months adjusted
they get a 4 oz bottle BM at 5 ish
8:30-9 ish 2.5tbscereal with fruit and 1oz bm
1230 4 oz BM
330 4oz BM
630 2.5tbscereal with veggies and 1oz bm
9:30 4 oz bm

We space out the food and the bottles, but that was purely based upon my thinking, not on any real advice 
DS is 5.5 months and eats the following:
7:00 a.m 6 oz bottle
9:00 a.m 6 oz bottle
10:30 - 11:00 cereal mixed with fruit
noon - 6 oz bottle
3:00 - 6 oz bottle
4:30-5:00 - cereal and fruit
6:00 6 oz bottle
7:30 - 7 oz bottle before bed (sometimes he conks out and doesnt finish it all)
My ped said we could do the cereal/food feedings anytime, and between my nanny and I we figured to do it in between bottles rather than at the same time. It's working for us now, but if he doesn't seem to like it, we'll change it.
That's sort of how we figure things out - we let him tell us if its working or not.
We're also going to see if we can drop one of the bottles in the next few weeks, and up the amount of cereal and food he's getting.
Hope that helps!  I often feel the same way as you - no idea if what i'm doing is 'right'.. but then i just tell myself that people have been having babies and figuring things out for a long time, so i try not to sweat it too much

We're doing the following with Ds #2 right now:
6:30am - 6oz bottle
9am - 1 TBSP cereal with formula (approx 4 ozs)
12pm - 1 jar of fruit or veggie with formula (approx 4 ozs)
3pm - 8 oz bottle
5:30pm/6pm - 1 jar veggie & 1 jar fruit with about 4 ozs of formula
8:30pm - 8 oz bottle then bed
