Freaked out a bit..
I'm 26weeks and I read here and thers on pregnancy facts. The other day I was on baby center and read that its really important to pay attention to you baby movement cause this poster wrote her friend noticed no movement around 6 mo and had a stillborn. And now since then I feel anxious that my is not moving as much as she did. I can't stop thinking about it. How many kicks? No movement? I'm making myself nuts. I dont know how to get this thought out of my head. Help

I freak out about this too. I was told by the dr if you haven't felt movement in awhile, go eat something and drink some water. Then go lay down in a dark room on your side for an hour and you should feel the baby kick. If you don't, then call the dr. Some days my LO goes nuts and other days he's more quiet. And as they get bigger, there's less room for them to move around so much. Try not to stress too much.
ETA: As the other girls have said, you don't need to start monitoring movement until 28w.

Re: Freaked out a bit..
It def is scary but I don't think you need to start noting it until 28 weeks. I had a couple of days where baby was just not as active and got nervous. I used my Doppler to check hb which made me feel better. What you can do is drink something cold or sugary or eat something and then lay down for a bit. You should feel the baby again in no time.

Try not to worry too much. I was told not to monitor movement until 28 weeks and honestly that's the exact week his movements started to increase in frequency for me. There are still days here and there where he's quiet but I find if I drink something sweet and poke at my belly I usually get a response fairly quickly.

You really have to try not to worry. Of course it could happen to any of us, but it's rare. We have more of a chance of getting into a car accident than this happening. Try not to think about it.
