What was your first purchase for LO?
It's still too early for me to buy anything for LO but i've been tempted so many times! So let me live vicariously through you guys -
What was the first thing you bought for the baby and how far along were you at that point?

A "daddy's little caddy" onesie before I even took a preg test... I just felt like I was and figured hey... if im not, i can always keep it on hand

I have only bought a few things for this baby ... we don't know what we are having and we were also team green with my DD so we have a lot of neutral stuff that we've saved.
But my first purchase was a onesie that has a picture of an ipod with earbuds and says iPood.
My DH is an ipod nut so it was just funny and appropriate to me!

I started a book collection. Every week i would buy books until I found I was having a girl and than I started buying lots of cute girl clothes!!!!

I'm boring. We're team  and have an almost 2 year old so I don't NEED much. Bought new bottles, a new swaddle me and a possible take home outfit.

the min I found out I was having another girl I bought a bunny shirt and skirt with tights to match I just couldn't help myself and I even bought her coming home outfit and receiving blanket.

we didn't really buy anything for LO specifically. I think the first baby item I purchased was when saw the breast friend pillow on clearance at BRU. Does that count?

I bought DH a Giants logo onesie from Etsy for his bday last week...
So far everyone has been giving us stuff (one benefit of being the last of your friends to have kids) so we haven't had to buy any baby gear yet!

Pretty much same here. I bought nipples for the 4oz bottles we already have, a couple of crib sheets, a toy that was on clearance...that's about it.

around 6-7 weeks, it was after christmas and they had the cutest outfits on sale for half off, i got this reindeer costume, it was too cute!

I bought a onesie with a Boston Terrier on it from old Navy (we have a boston terrier, so I thought that was cute). I think I was around 10-11 weeks.
Once we found out we were having a girl....(17 weeks), I haven't stopped shopping since lol

With DS1 I was 19 weeks at disney world and bought a light green teddy bear that said "My 1st Disney Bear".
This time I was 17 weeks and started crocheting a baby blanket, so I guess the first thing was yarn lol.

a Missoni for target sweater onesie- for a girl.
I was 10 weeks and not sure of the sexes of the twins. One turned out to be a girl so I was golden!

I was soooo tempted to buy stuff for the baby as soon as I found out I was pregnant but I tried to hold off until we found out the sex.
However, I was almost 20 weeks when I had to buy a gender neutral outfit because it was such a great price.
However, now that I know its a gilr, it looks too boyish for my taste

It was actually given to DH but its more a gift for baby. A baby Pittsburgh Steeler book! Once I knew the sex I started buying her clothes right away.

I bought a little Met's jersey about a month before I even found out I was pregnant. DH is huge fan, and I found it for such a great price that I just couldn't resist. I just figured we'd put it away until I got pregnant, and luckily we didn't have to wait too long!
ETA: we haven't bought anything else yet. I think we'll wait to find out the sex.

about 4 or soyears ago, i bought a soccer rattle- says myfirst soccer ball. i fell in love and have it hidden somewhere.. all long before we were even married.. LOL
