Methotrexate
Can anyone tell me what side effects they have from this drug? Are you not allowed to have any alcohol after the shot? How long is this in your system?

The one time I had to take it I didn't notice any side effects. It's been a while so I don't remember specifics as to how long it stays in your system but like I said, I don't remember having any issues with it.

The only side effect I had was heartburn. You have to stay away from alcohol and folic acid (vitamins and foods) until your beta goes down to zero.
It took 3 weeks for my beta to get to zero. The highest it ever got was somewhere in the 200's.
Also you can't TTC for 3 months after you get the shot.

I got bad headaches from it... it doesnt stay in the body too long... i found a list online what i can and cant take while i was on it... there seem to be conflicting reports on what is and isnt ok...
