What to wash?
I know LO clothes, sheets and blankets should be washed before she gets here but should I also wash the car seat cover or is that going overboard? Anything else you can think of that needs washing?

Re: What to wash?
Good question! I was wondering this myself!
Also can we use softener when washing their clothes? Not dryer sheets, not putting it in a dryer, but just gentle softener in the washer machine?

I would not use softener just in case LO is allergic to the dyes or perfume.

Re: What to wash?
I washed everything.
I didn't use softener - I don't usually use it though. I just started using dryer sheets with DS because his fleecy blankets and Carters pajamas were so staticky - it was horrible!

Re: What to wash?
I was going with clothes, sheets and blankets too. I'm not washing the car seat cover. But what about bibs?? Do we need to wash those too?

Re: What to wash?
I washed everything that would come in contact with the baby's skin- clothes, blankets, sheets, car seat cover, bibs, burp cloths, and covers for bouncy seat, swing, jumperoo, etc. I would not use any softener unless it is "free" of allergens and fragrance etc.
