xp from TTC board.. conception question
im a little confused...im hoping that you ladies can help me.
my lmp was on 12/24/11 and I had a 29day cycle. i was using OPK's and got my  on 1/5/11. DH & I  on 1/5 & 1/6. I got my BFP on 1/18/11- at the time when i got my bfp I didnt even miss AF yet. I had IB on the the 17th and a little on the 18th which prompted me to POAS. so my question is which day did I conceive on? i plugged in my info on pregnology.com and it said that 1/8/12 was my conception day...is this true? thanks in advance for answering this for me

All those guess your ovulation date. I would say the 5th or 6th. Congrats on your bfp!

your conception date will not matter when it comes to calculating your due date. Your due date will always be tied to your LMP. YOu cannot really know when you actually conceived, you can figure out your O date but you won't know what day the egg and sperm met.

You won't really know... sperm can live up to 72 hours and an egg can live 36... so it really could have been the 5th, 6th, or 7th... I would probably count it as the 5thor 6th though.
If you want to figure out your due date, take the first day of your last period, subtract 3 months, and add 7 days. Congrats!!
