Center for Reproduction @ NSH?
Has anyone used the Center for Human Reproduction @ North Shore Hospital? I have been seeing Dr. Scholl there and I am not 100% happy with him. Thoughts on this doctor or the clinic?

I just started going there...I was going to RSofNY and I did not like it...I am seeing dr. hershlag and I like him so far...what I do like is being able to see a doctor more so and the hours are great!!
Can I ask what you are not happy with?

I went there for what seems like forever and while I can relate to your feeling I gave them another try and now I'm 5mo preg. He is a warm person it just takes a bit to see. I just got a call from him checking in on me and lo to see how we were doing. I don't know many Dre who release you then check in. I did also like Dr Cohen from the min I met him he made me so comfortable. How long have u been seeing him if I.can ask?

I have been Dr Scholl's patient since '08 and started at NSUH in 07 with Dr Rosenfield. I have a 2.5 yo son thru my first fresh ivf then a failed frozen and fresh and then a 9wk miscarriage I'm about the start up with another fresh. I can't say enough about the docs and nurses. They get to know you....
Each has a different but good bedside manner.

i didnt use him i saw dr rosenfeld who i liked. they got the job done becuase i have a bautiful daughter thanks to them.

I used Dr. Scholl. I had issues with scheduling, and that was hard, but overall he quickly figured ot the problem, and i am now 15 weeks pregnant. He never checked in on me, nor gave me results- i had all reslts sent to my ob as well. The nursing staff there is amazinig.

I have been going there for three months, ttc for 18 months had two failed iuis. Just concerned why he hasn't checked my progesterone. I had a miscarriage three years ago possibly due to low progesterone and when I got pregnant with my daughter I had low progesterone and my ob put me on progesterone suppositories. I'm just questioning why he hasn't checked that as a reason why I'm not conceiving.

Yes! I used them to get my first son and currently are using them now for a another round of IVF. I have had Dr Scholl, Cohen and Hershlag they all worked collectively with me. What didnt you like about Scholl? Sometimes he can be a bit impersonable and not very warm but trust me when I say he is really good. Is it him personally you didnt like or the method they are using for you?
I have noticed this about each of them, Dr Scholl- straight to the point
Dr Cohen- Comedian
Dr Hershalg- very warm

I'm a graduate of this center, and my primary was Dr. Cohen. I got seen by Dr. Hershlag and Scholl as well. No complaints, these docs have been wonderful. I had one fresh cycle, one frozen cycle and got pregnant both times.
