Funny phone call from my mom...
My mom is definitely a little...technologically deficient. Also, she lives in Canada, which makes her initial question even funnier. Anyways, here is how my conversation just now went with my mom (calling from Toronto):
Mom: is something wrong with the internet?!?!?
Me: the WHOLE internet?
Mom: well, I read something about sites going dark or something today...
Me: oh, well, yes....(attempts to briefly explain SOPA)
Mom: my whole computer just stopped working suddenly!
Me: I don't think these two things are related....try restarting your computer
Mom: oh yes, okay, thanks.
 I love that she calls me from Canada, to ask me if there is something wrong with the ENTIRE INTERNET. Oh, Mom.

Right? My favorite part is that she for some reason thinks I, in NY, would know what was wrong with her internet better than say my brother or sister who both live within a couple miles of her.
Oh, and that she thinks the whole internet is broken.
