CB fertility monitor vs. fertility digital O test

Hi ladies, I need some help here...CB fertiltiy monitor OR CB Digital Ovulation Test?? Not sure which one to buy. Not really sure what the diference is? Is one better than the other?? The immediate difference I see is the price . The monitor is about $150 and the O test is about $38 (for 7 strips). But I'll pay the extra if the monitor is worth it.

I bought the monitor. I actually got it on ebay. I made sure to pick one that was packaged in a box and new. 30 strips and the meter cost me 80. So far I have really liked the monitor.

i preferred the monitor w/ my 1st pregnancy but for some reason this past cycle...my 1st cycle trying after a m/c in sept (monitor worked then) - the monitor never gave me peak days which is basically when you know you are about to O. i got high readings for days...like 10 or so days. i was doubling up and using the digital OPKs as well b/c i thought it was odd not getting peak reading on the monitor. I got on the digital 3 days in a row (they say stop testing after you get a but i'm crazy and wanted to see how much longer i'd get a for)....so I did O but the monitor never told me I did. I am now 5 weeks pregnant so go figure....
So my vote is for the digital OPKs.

Thanks for the help ladies. I went to two stores today and niether had the monitor so I bought the digital opk's. Thanks again!

I'll be honest, a few days after AF I start to get high readings and never got a peak with the monitor (I have in the passed, just not this cycle). My NP suggested the OPKs and sure enough I got a smiley face that night! I like the digitals better.

I have used both. Like digital OPK's better. I stopped using the CBEFM altogether for now. I found I rarely if ever got Peak even though the OPK had a smiley.

Thanks for all your input. Now that I have the digital OPK's, once I get a smiley, does that mean I should BD every night from that day on??? or just BD every other night? In other words, whaat is your BD schedule once you get that smiley?? Also, once I get the smiley, do i stop testing?

instructions say to stop testing once you get the but i continue to test until i no longer get the . i got for 3 days in a row. once we got we every day...sometimes twice a day. prior to that we were every other day. it worked for us - i am 6 weeks prego.

I just want to add that you should BD before the . THat's why some people like the CBEFM because it gives you the high fertility days. I noticed once I started seeing CM I would start getting high readings on my CBEFM.
