money money money
Being that the rates are so low, DH and i were looking to purchase our first home. We got some great input from you ladies on here (and from your husbands - thanks  ) and sat down last week to look at numbers. It seemed do-able until we got a reality check...we plan to start trying for a child soon. So adding the expense of a new home (which would prob be an additional $1200 in bills per month), we would need to pay another $1000 in daycare when the times comes. We decided to put house hunting on the back burner and focus on starting a family
a little disappointed to be honest, but I think its the right decision for us.
Just needed to vent - thanks for listening

We went through the EXACT same thing a few months ago. Think of it this way--better to know NOW then to get in over your heads. That is what I keep telling myself lol Save a bit more and revisit the idea in a year :)

im glad i am not the only one! It just had me feeling like DH and i are doing something wrong that we cant swing both. but i know in the end its the best and who knows what next year will bring
