Do you drink Coffee?

I was a daily coffee drinker before getting pregnant...1-2 cups a day.

When I got pregnant I weaned off of it, cutting down to half-caffe and to a smaller mug. Now if I have coffee it is the occassional decaf latte from starbucks as a treat.

Lately though I've been craving coffee and would like to have a cup here and there. Maybe it's the cold weather!

Do you drink coffee? How much? Decaf or regular?

My doc said a cup of coffee a day is no problem, but I still worry!

yes i do- probably about 4 times a week I have one regular cup, my OB was totally fine with it

I have a cup every AM (sipping right now). 200 to 300mg of caffeine every day are ok.

I've been sticking with mostly decaf, but have had an occaisaional regular....especially if I've had a headache or needed a pick me up from no sleep!

I try to limit it to no more than one cup a day, if I have any.

I drink a cup of half decaf/half regular in the morning and then again at 3. Sometimes I have a cup of decaf around 12.

I stopped it completely and I was a HUGE coffee drinker (2-3 cups a day). I have had it twice while being pregnant and it just didn't taste the same. DH knows as soon as baby's here I need a super sized extra strong cup of coffee

I only drink decaf (even though there is still some caffeine in it). It tastes the same to me!!!

I do. I used to drink a cup or two every morning. Now I am cutting down and trying to drink just half a cup or so. Dr. said 1-2 cups a day is okay, but you have to keep in mind that most cups of coffee you would get from Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks are way bigger than a cup!

loved coffee before, but it has been making me sick. I have switched to a cup of tea every morning. With a 20 month old running around, I need my 1 dose of caffine!

I still drink coffee but always decaf. decaf soy lattes from starbucks

I drink regular tea in the mornings and afternoons sometimes

Still have a cup everyday.

A cup a day is fine. I used to drink lots more, I just cut back.

nope. I'm used to a daily cup (or two) of coffee and went to almost nothing after the BFP. I'm 18w and probably have had a total of 4 cups of decaf coffee this pregnancy

I am not a regular coffee drinking HOWEVER Ive recently have started to crave it, weird. Anyway, I still dont think it much but I think you're fine with drinking 1-2cups a day as long as you dont eat/drink anything else that day with caffeine in it.

I drink 3/4 of my full travel full per day. Reg coffee.

Doc said anything under 4 cups is fine

1st trimester: decaf only

Now I drink 1 cup of regular every morning.

if i feel a headache coming on ill have a cup.

in fact the high risk maternal fetal medicine doctor ENCOURAGED me to drink it.

so now ill have a cup when i need it without the guilt.

I used to have a cup of regular before getting pregnant. Ive stopped drinking coffee but i do have tea every night.

Yes, I do. I had on average 2 cups daily before pregnancy. I have since cut back to 1 cup a day since.

I don't but I drink soda occasionally

I drank coffee every day with both my pregnancies.

I drink a cup in the morning every day & then switch to decaf for the rest of the day.

I drink a cup of decaf just about everyday. Ill treat myself to a regular cup 1-2 times a week.

I stopped drinking coffee during my first trimester. I started to drink one cup a day during the 2nd tri but found it bothered my stomach. I had contractions one day and it was the day I had coffee. Not sure if it was related but I stopped drinking coffee again. Now at 27 weeks I started again but only a cup or two a week. One cup a day should be fine. Just see how you feel--let your body tell you if it agrees with you.
