Light headed and breaking out in sweating?
This morning as I was getting ready for work I got dizzy, my face felt cold but my body was hot, felt light headed and started swesting on my face. I sat down in case I fainted but thankfully I didnt. Has anyone experienced this? Is this pregnancy related..possible low sugar? I went to eat a bowl of cereal shortly after and i felt a little better. Im doing ok now but still dont feel 100%..any ideas?

I used to get dizzy spells with both pregnancies. It could be low blood sugar, it could be the increased blood flow. Either way take it easy and def try to eat something if you feel dizzy.

YES I get this! once it was so bad I lost my vision
You HAVE to make sure you're eating frequently enough. I only get this if I've gone a while without eating. It's so scary though, I hate it.

this happened to me on saturday. I've felt light headed once in a while but on saturday i was on a crowded and loud train that was also really jerky. I started sweating and felt kinda dizzy and nauseous. I finally asked a man near me if I could sit down because I was pregnant and didn't feel well. I felt better after I was sitting but I still don't know what happened

Used to happen tgo me in the mornings as I was getting ready for work / on the train on the way to work. Doc said it was likely because my body had not had anything in its system since the night before and that I should def eat something before I left the house.

I take the train all the time and this was the first time i asked to sit. I felt like I might pass out. And the poor guy felt so bad that he didn't offer his seat but I'm still at that "is she pregnant or just chubby?" stage so I didn't blame him 
I was very surprised and how nice the people were around me though asking if I needed anything or help with my bags etc.

same thing...I never ask for a seat but this time I had to. Now, I make sure to always bring a bottle of water and crackers/snacks because it was my fault of running out of the house to catch the stupid train without eating!

Yes, that happens to me too, and did also with my first pregnancy. It's really scary and I could never really predict when it was going to happen.

This was my 2nd trimester symptom.
I didnt know if I was dehydrated, low sugar, or anemic. So I started eating more cereal with iron and drinking more fluids.
I now believe it was dehydration.

This happened to me also! Especially with my first pregnancy and when I was 17 weeks we were registering at BRU, it happened, and I passed out! I knocked down a whole display of bath toys and freaked the heck out of my husband!!!
I remember getting that hot sweaty feeling right before the room started spinning!
So...not to make you all nervous! I went to the ER, followed up with my OBGYN and also a cardiologist, and everything was FINE. They determined that it was because I went 3.5 hours after eating. They recommended after that that I eat every 2-3 hours so that my blood sugar doesn't drop, and I did that and never had it happen again.
This 2nd pregnancy it was happening also in the beginning and I remembered fast to have little snacks throughuot the day, even if it was just a piece of fruit!

Yes! I actually called out sick last week when it happened. I was all ready to go and got scared to drive. I had eaten cereal for breakfast and when I asked my dr he told me that I should eat some protein in the morning.

Wow, those are some scary stories! I think it was low blood sugar because after I ate and had some grapes I felt better. I guess I have to really make sure to always have something in my stomach. Thanks for all the responses.

Yes, I had dizzy spells yesturday morning. At times I think my sugar level might be low or possibly dehydrated.
