Anyone use a chiro?
I'll strt by saying that ive always been acres of the chiro...I'm afraid they'll break something 
Anyway I have a herniated disc and bad SI Joint dysfunction for the last three years, I usually do pain mgmt but can't have the procedures while pg. I'm debating a chiro bc I can't take the pain anymore, it's to a point where I can't walk at times 
Unfortunately the joint problem is aggravated by pregnancy alone, add any simple activity to that and I'm in so much pain! Anyway, tell me tour experiences with chiro to ease my fears :)

Ive been going to a chiro prior to getting preg. Once I became pregnant, I didnt go in my first trimester and have only gone about 3 times since. I fully trust my chiro, one of which has a daughter who is pregnant as well. I'm going in this week for an adjustment.

I have used a chiro for the past 2 or 3 years. I don't why it took me years to get the courage to go. I feel so much better after going. I haven't been since my BFP but must pay a visit soon.

Your pregnancy, labor and delivery will be so much easier if you're getting adjusted...especially with SI jt dysfunction. I'm a chiropractor, I was able to work up until my due date with my last pregnancy because I was adjusted. Feel free to FM me if you have any questions...it's totally safe even in your first trimester. HTH!

Yes, I  my chiropractor!! With DS, I was having the WORST sciatic pain (where I couldn't even walk) and after just two sessions with her I was 100% better. I've also heard labor and delivery is supposed to be shorter and easier if you are under the care of a chiropractor because they make sure your pelvis is aligned. Just make sure whoever you use is experienced in working on pregnant women.

Lois- I went to a chrio through all 3 of my pregnancies! And you know me with all my back/hip issues! One of my only saving graces. (I'm actually going today!  )

My mother goes to one somewhere in Massapequa, I will get the name for you. She loves him and he won't touch you if he feels it will do more harm than good.

Dr. Aiello is awesome in Massapequa. She is a no crack Chiroand has worked on me during this pregnancy. Or you can ask your OB to recommend a pre-natal physical therapist.

i've been using a chiro for years. I went my entire first pregnancy.....i felt great, never had any issues sleeping, back pain etc. This pregnancy I've been slacking. I did not go the first few weeks and just started up again the past two weeks.

She does not crack your back or neck. More like massage and stretching.
