Dr. Hershlag was the first RE I looked into and tried to make an appointment with, unfortunately I work at 8am in Smithtown, so even leaving at 7 am from Manhasset would not get me to work on time.
I made an appointment at LI IVF for a consult next Thurday with Dr. Satu Kuokkanen because stupid me wasn't thinking i'd need a consult first before treatment. So I think I may still go to Dr. B for CD3 and 10 testing so I can literally not miss a cycle.
I am not that upset because I have Oct-Dec of just getting my 8-10th IUI's and in January I can go back to Dr. B and start with IVF.
So I guess I just need someone to give me sonos, prescrible me meds and do the IUI's, Dr. B did the ground work already.
Have you tried to waive your insurance's rule about going through 10 IUIs before IVF?

I go to RS of NY. they have an office in stony brook and west islip. I really like them a lot. I used Dr. Stelling as my primary sicne I am doing PGD/IVF. I have a 2 yo DD to show for it!!! I really like Dr. Sung as well. I saw her a lot at the Mineola office which is my "home" office.
I have been seeing Dr. Sung in Mineola since I was diagnosed with PCOS last year. I would definitely recommend the RS of NY.

Haha my insurance has no rule about how many IUI's I need, I just have NO IVF coverage. At all.
It would be purely OOP, which I HAD planned to do, however DH are moving to a new house and because of it we don't have an extra 12k for treatment.
In January I will go back on my work insurance which is United and I can get the OON plan then.
I am still kicking myself for ever switching to DH's plan!

How are their hours? Anything early am, or late in the day like 5:30pm or on? What about weekends?

I think Mineola is okay, just Manhasset is a bit too far.

I really Liked them too, WI was my primary office, I have  from there.

I think Mineola is okay, just Manhasset is a bit too far.
They're open 7 days a week- the only day they are closed in Christmas. They open at 6:30AM.
They do the bloodwork and sonograms in the morning.

DOn't apologize  You would have to ask them but I'm pretty sure they only do the bloodwork and sonos in the morning. The good news is that I'm usually in and right out. Not sure about the other locations.
