traditional rocker
Is it weird that I dont want to get a glider and ottoman and prefer a traditional rocker? Did anyone else get one? If so, where did you find one of good quality??

My Mom has a beautiful one that she used with all of us girls when we were babies. I tried to get it from her when we were PG with my DD but she couldn't pick which of her children should get it since my brother, sister and I all had our daughters within about a year and a half of eachother, so she kept it at her house.
I would check unfinished furniture places, such as bare boards. I remember shopping there for dressers and seeing some of them there! Also I wonder about an Amish-type furniture store in Pennsylvania!

My sister bought one from them and LOVES it!

I don't think it's weird at all. I love the look of a traditional rocker. That being said there are some perks to a glider/ottoman. I really enjoyed the recline feature on mine and the nursing, footstool ottoman.
