If you're over 35 and TTC
How many months did you tried before getting the BFP?
I'm 37 turning 38 in Dec. and I'm starting to get worried. This is my 2nd month and so far nothing yet. :(

We've been trying since Feb. and nothing for us yet either. I will be turning 37 next month.

This will be my fisrt month trying for #2. Was over 35 when we conceived #1 but it took a vry long time and the help of an RE.

this is also my firsy month TTC. when i was 35 we started ttc & it took a few months for us to get preggo- now that ds is 17 months we are trying again. hopefully it won't take too long

I just goit my BFP yestarday, a few weeks before turning 37. 4 months of 100% trying and another month that we tried but, think I Oed already by the time we tried.

turnin 36 next week
we stopped being careful in april
started tempin and using opk in june
found out in july i have fibroids and a polyp. had a d&c 3 weeks ago to get rid of the polyp. today is my follow up and i hope all is good that way we can start again

Thanks ladies, at what point do you stop testing and just wait for the missed AF?
I've tested 5-6 times in the past 2 months and am so dejected that I'm not doing it again until I miss my AF.
There's only so much rejection a girl can take!
:(

I am 38 and got my BFP about a week after my 38th Bday.
I had ben trying for 2 years.
Some months are easy to not test others I would start at 9DPO. You will have your ups and downs and I can't tell you why soem months were harder to accept the BFN than others.

I will be 37 in Dec.
We've been "throwing caution to the wind" since Jan/Feb
Used OPK June-July
I had a chemical (m/c) at 5wks in July.
OB said to wait one cycle then start again. I asked when we should start to worry, he said at least 6 mos of actively trying.
AF was due last week (Wed) and she hasn't shown. Took HPT, it was BFN, but still no AF so we'll see. . . .
