When to schedule...
I am currently 6 weeks and still under the care of my IVF doc. When do I go to my reg OBGYN? Things are looking good, and I am not sure when to schedule my reg. visits...thanks

they'll tell you when they want to release you (its usually around 8-9 weeks) and give you paperwork to bring to your OB

Same here. At one of my appointments they told me to schedule an appt. with my regular OB. At my next visit they asked when my appt. was scheduled for and determined when they would see me last based on that.

At my 6week, 3 day appt with my RE, we scheduled another u/s at 8.5 weeks with him. He told me at the 6w appt to call my OB and make an appt around week 9. I signed some release form and they will fax papers to my OB.

So you weren't seeing the RE every week?
Its kind of bittersweet thinking of moving on from my RE My brain hasn't even grasped coming along that far yet!

So you weren't seeing the RE every week?
Its kind of bittersweet thinking of moving on from my RE My brain hasn't even grasped coming along that far yet!
No, I went in for three betas every other day to make sure it was doubling. The third one was when I was 4 weeks, 5 days. My next appointment was the u/s at 6 weeks, 3 days. Now I'm waiting for the next u/s which will be at 8 weeks, 3 days.

At my first sonogram I asked him and he told me I won't be released until 10 weeks. Some people may be earlier than me though, given my history... Hth!
