Are you registering for more than 1 stroller?
If so, what are you registering for?

Re: Are you registering for more than 1 stroller?
I think you'll be totally fine with just the City Mini. With my son, we got the Snap n Go and the City mini. We used the SNG in the beginning months (didn't know at the time that the City Mini had a carseat adaptor) and have only used the City Mini since. Our son is 19 months now and we haven't needed anything else.

Re: Are you registering for more than 1 stroller?
We bought our own stroller already but it's a bit bulky (I'Coo Pacific). I love it and will definitely use it for long walks in the park and in the neighborhood but for trips to the mall registered for the the Aprica Presto Flat- this stroller will be kept in our car at all times.
Both strollers come with car seat adapters and rain covers so no accessories are necessary.
I'm a little to admit that I also registred for the City Mini. Technically that's two strollers on my registry but 3 that I will actually own. The City Mini will be kept at my Mom's house as baby will be there twice a week and my Mom LOVES taking the baby to the park/church ect. I needed something that was super easy to fold, relatively light and that she was familiar with. If the City Mini had the forward facing option I would have bought this instead of the I'Coo Pacific for myself.

Re: Are you registering for more than 1 stroller?
This will be my first baby so I'm not really sure. I think we are going to start out with just a travel system, probably the Chicco Cortina. I think that type of stroller will be fine and it seems to have pretty good reviews. I plan on going walking everyday and I think it will be fine for that plus trips to the parks, stores, etc.
I think I would like a jogging stroller eventually because I used to jog lightly before pregnancy and my husband is a runner but I am going to wait on that. I probably wouldn't use a jogger until the baby is older anyway and I'm not sure how much we would actually use it. I would only get one if I knew we would be using it.
Same thing with an umbrella stroller, I think I would like one but that is something I don't need right away.
I don't want to store a bunch of strollers when I'm only using 1 for the first year. When it comes to baby gear I have a minimalist attitude.

Re: Are you registering for more than 1 stroller?
My in laws bought us the uppa vista and I registered for the maclaren. Plus I registered for a snap n go that I can leave at my moms since she'll be watching figured that would be easier for my mom to use.

Re: Are you registering for more than 1 stroller?
I registered for a snap and go and Maclaren because at the time I don't know what I was thinking and didn't use the adapter for the Maclaren. The snap and go is lightweight and easy, but it has a terrible amount of storage underneath and doesn't steer well or manuever well either. Just bear that in mind.
I've also decided that I HATE my Maclaren and I bought a used double stroller from someone on the board for this pregnancy.

Ugh, it is the WORST. My friend said to me "nothing turns like a Maclaren" and made me get one, no questions. I did. Well, she's right, nothing does turn like it, as long as you are on completely flat terrain! And you HAVE to strap your kid in, there is NO tray on the front. So if you are trying to transfer a sleeping toddler from car seat to stroller, best wishes to ya!

Re: Are you registering for more than 1 stroller?
i got a snap and go and the city mini with the adapter. we started using the city mini with the adapter and i decided i didnt need the snap and go at all. the city mini with the adapter is so light that i never need the snap and go.
the only thing i dont like about it is that when the car seat is attached and you are going off curbs or other unstable terrain, it seems to tip to the side fairly easily. like if you take it too fast it can def tip over although its so light that its easy to recover. but still the whole thing does feel a bit flimsy. i dont know if the stroller will last past #1 because it gets a lot of wear and tear and it's light, but that's also why the price isn't crazy. also the adapter is super expensive for an adapter ($60) and ours broke last week (DD is only 3 months and was in the NICU for the first month so we've only been using it for 2 months). im returning it for another one, but still it's a little flimsy overall.
there are some other strollers i looked at and so far im fine with the city mini. maybe when DD is older i'll want something different but for now im happy with the decision to stick with the city mini only and the adapter.

Re: Are you registering for more than 1 stroller?
I plan on getting the Britax B-Agile which is like a city mini clone but better! It has a click and go feature for britax car seats, no adapters necessary!
