what stroller are you registering for and why

hi ladies i was laying in bed last night wondering about strollers.
How many strollers are you registering for? What kind? Why? Are they for infants, toddlers, both? Price Range?

I'd like to get as much information as possible to have a better idea what's out there and what is the reasoning for choosing so and so..

I originally thought about the bugaboo or the uppababy, just to get one stroller for infant and toddler but I know there is so much more out there

Gabbie -

The best way to go about this is to go to the store - play with them - push them around the store....open and close them...lift them...etc. I had a few in mind and doing that at BRU and BBB really opened our eyes. dave - the most laid back guy in the world had very strong opinions based on the 'fold'...

we registered for:

1. an umbrella stroller for when the infant one is no longer feasible.

2. a graco qattro sport - it's 1 pound lighter than the quattro tour and that 1 pound matters to my spinal surgery neck...

3. a snap & go (base that the infant car seat snaps into)

Re: what stroller are you registering for and why

I am getting 2

1) snap & go for the infant seat

2) Jeep Liberty Jogging stroller for everyday use. My SIL has one & loved it plus DH & I do a lot travelling where we need an all-terrain stroller.

We registered for the Graco SnugRide Snap and Go & The Chicco Cortina Stroller.

I wanted the snap & go for ease when the baby is in the infant seat. And the Chicco was one of the lighter and easier to fold strollers.

The Orbit.. Light weight very easy to fold.. I love the look of it and I love that the base turns toward you when you wannt to get the baby out of the car seat or if you are in a place that u can bring the stroller you can swivel the seat toward you with out turning the stroller around.. I got the travel system

Quinny Buzz 3 Wheel. Love the way it looks and handles. It works as a snap and go w/ the infant car seat in the beginning and will be great for walking. I also registered for the Maclaren Volo.

Re: what stroller are you registering for and why

Bumbleride Flyer b/c it's light and the handle reverses, so the baby can face you.
I'm also registering for a Maclaren Volo for when the baby is a little older b/c it's only 7 or 8 lbs, AND it holds up to 55lbs.

Re: what stroller are you registering for and why

I had a graco metrolite for DS and it lasted only 16 months before it broke. I now have a peg perego pliko p3. I think I will get a BOB with the rumble seat when number 2 is born. I will have to have DS test it out first. I love the peg and wish I had it from the begining. IMHO had the graco not broken it was fine and I would still be using it. However the people at the store said that they ususally break by 12 months.
