First Earthquakes now Hurricane???
Seriously, can anyone else even grasp the fact that we just had an earthquake in NY and now we're supposed to have a "high risk" hurricane Sunday??????????????????
Has the world turned upside down???
Last thing I need (and all of you need) to worry about is preparing for a hurricane!!!!!!!
Esp after DH just fell off his scaffold at work during the friggen earthquake!!!!!!!!

Lets hope that things calm down with Hurricane Irene. It seems to be a category 1 right now.

If I make it that far, I'm going to be 40w3d the day the hurricane comes here. I'm seriously freaking out about it.

DH is OVERALL good...could be alot worse...
but the thing is, he has a HORRIBLE back, just got done with a series of 3 epidurals in his lower back over this summer, because of degenerated discs and bad back pain, so the LAST thing he needed was this fall! He was hobbling all over this morning trying to leave for work
but like I said, could be worse, his coworker who also fell hit his head bad and cut it wide open! He's OK too, but sheesh, both of them could have gotten hurt much worse...

and OMG 2012 scares the c r a p out of me so I don't even talk about it LOL
but yes this all does make you wonder!

Yes earthquake was strange but hurricanes are very normal for this area. I think its just cause we haven't had one in a few years bit we used to get one every season.
