Sexy time @ 4 weeks????
I just got my BFP on friday....I'm only 4 weeks preg... bloodtest appointment mon 8/29...1st sonogram 9/14..........
can we  ????
I know the answer is probably "durhhhh, YES!"
but I'm just nervous. I'm nervous that its going to dislodge the "baby" or it getting squirted with baby "batter" from DH is not good.
Some reassurance please??? (Esp for DH's sake!!! haha  )

You can have sex, one you get pregnant your uterus locks itself up tighter than Fort Knox, it won't dislodge or get squirted on, LOL! You can have sex as long as your OB says it's ok and you have no complications like bleeding or placenta previa or anything but at 4 weeks everything is still super early.

That's part of why I'm nervous.. bc it's so early I'm super nervous. I feel like I should wait until at least the bloodtest next monday but that's over a week away!

Leave it to me to get anyone nervous but I refuse to have sex until my Dr. gives me the ok (Im 5 weeks today) the last time I was pregnant we had sex and I started bleeding that night and had a MC the next day. Could be TOTAL coincidence but Im so paranoid that I will not take the chance again...

I know it's ok and have been told by the dr and others, but I won't let dh near me until the 1st trimester is over In the beginning I had a hairline of blood in cm a few days and then spotted one night last week at 8 weeks. It wasn't from my uterus but it's enough to freak me out. You can have some light spotting from sex and I know I can't handle that.

Same with me. I feel bad for DH but I know I will be a nervous wreck. I am sure we'll make up for it once we are in the 2nd trimester.

I know, I feel sooooo bad for DH but I am just so scared and I wouldnt enjoy it at all. The thing is I dont like to do other things to please him so I feel even worse...I cant wait until we at least have an ultrasound to confirm everything is ok. This is def. something I plan to discuss with my Dr. at my appt.

Yes you can!
This pregnancy my Dr told me to abstain because sex can sometimes cause cervical irritation which can make you spot. Because I had a previous loss they didn't want me to do anything that would freak me out. I felt so sick most of the time I didn't feel like anyway and my DH was pretty nervous the second time around anyway so the no sex was a non-issue.
We got the okay now that I'm just about into my second trimester and doing it again was AMAZING My Dr just reminded me that if I spot after sex, a few hours after or the day after and it's just when I wipe it's most likely cervical irritation and nothing to worry about.

My RE told us not to in the beginning especially after I had some spotting. After we got the ok I was nervous but all is good. I think everyone will have a different answer for you. Do what feels right I guess.
