I'm done being stuck on bedrest (63 days today)

I'm done looking at the baby clutter all over my house

I'm done going through my shower gifts and wondering why people insist on buying clothes for Team Green showers. Why can't people fight the urge? it's not even cute! I'm pretty vocal about hating baby stuff with doggies, giraffes, monkeys, fishies, duckies and froggies so please tell me why I have a huge bag of stuff to return? I received TWELVE duck towels! I'm not putting a 6-9 month boy in yellow duckies or green froggies on a little girl!

I'm done looking at all the projects DH needs to complete before LO comes

I'm done with this kid having hiccups twice a day

I'm done with this kid trying to break my ribs with it's karate kicks all day long

I'm done drinking water.

I'm done with the fat slob feeling.

I'm done with reading everyone's fun summer status updates on FB.

I decided I hate the nursery color I chose. Everyone said wait until the furniture comes. I waited. It came (Damaged mind you). Still hate it.

and I'm REALLY done with people telling me "oh but it's so worth it in the end" and then proceeding to b!tch about how they can't wait for school to start up again b/c their kids are so annoying.

Done.

And now I'm done venting. Thank you. I will be changing my screen name to Debbie Downer shortly.

You have it much worse than I so you have every right to vent. But I hear ya. This kid is due tomorrow and EVERYTHING has been setting me off the last couple of days. The best I can say is hang in there!

Omg I'm right there with you chica!,,,

I've been on bed rest over four weeks (3 of those 4 in the hospital)
I pretty much had a breakdown last night crying how Im so frustrated and freaking out how much shizz stills needs to get done

I pretty much harass my dh every day about what he can put assemble so it's ready

I still haven't decided what to do about the nursery...exchange all the neutral bedding we got or exchange it all for a either a boy or girl bedding....I still have to decide on what color of the walls are based on that and the floor needs carpeting,...none of which I can figure out from my bed.
So the nursery is empty with white walls.

I've missed two weddings, three bachlorette parties, a bridal shower and my own shower, not to mention the obvious beach/bbq's going on.

Every time I get up to pee (which is every hour)
I feel like the baby is going to just pop out from the weight and pain in my pelvis

Oh AND my mother, whom I live with, and has basically been my care taker- just got back from the dr yesterday and found out she has Shingles!!!

Done, done and DONE!!!

yayyyy rant time!!! granted i'm only starting my 8th wk.... but.....

i'm soooo tired of feeling nauseous

i'm sooo sick of having gas coming out BOTH ends. it was way better when it didn't come out either.... lol

i'm sooo tired of all the nasty smells in the house, especially from the coat of poly on the wood. the job was done in march though. my goodness, can't the poly take care of itself by now?

i'm soo annoyed that there is a ton of work that i need to do but can't because m/s is keeping me down.

i'm so upset that ON TOP of m/s, i caught a virus which is giving me fevers/chills/diarrhea and the works

I am done with cleaning my house - I cry every time.

I am done with waiting for my nursery furniture - the room still has baby shower gifts in it and isn't painted because we are waiting to find out what the sex is.

I am done with sleeping on my sides.

I am done waking up with swollen hands/feet and achy joints.

I am DONE with the hemorrhoids.

I am SOOOO done with people telling me horrible things about labor and lack of sleep and then follow it up with it's all worth it.

I am done with people not letting me do the simplest things because I am pregnant.

The best part is that months, maybe years, down the road you will see a pregnant girl and wish you were pregnant. The beginning and end of pregnancy are THE WORST!!!

I'll add to this.....I'm only like 4 weeks, but...

I'm DONE with being tired ALREADY!!!!

I'm DONE with anticipating puking everyday for 2 months!!!

Oh I feel your pain though I haven't been on strict bed rest for long I've been on modified activity of some sort for 70+ days now.

We have nothing done. Not a single thing.

Haven't even looked at furniture yet much less ordered it or received it.

Because of superstitions, we haven't bought any clothes or gear. And because of those same superstitions there won't be a shower.

If you saw our apartment you'd have no clue we are expecting twins that could arrive at any time due to preterm labor.

The soon to be nursery is still setup as an office.

DH has been so wonderful doing everything to take care of me and try to do things here, and I know he's a bit overwhelmed though he won't admit it.

I lay around all day being on bed rest wishing I could do something ... anything to help ... but I know I cant because the babies aren't ready to be born yet!

This list is LEGIT! Couldn't agree MORE! I don't think I'm the kind of girl who relishes being pregnant at all. I know women who love enjoy and embrace it and I envy that. Don't get me wrong I am so OVER THE MOON excited to be pregnant its disturbing! But sometimes its really hard! And poor DH I'm really difficult sometimes, so its really hard for him too! Usually after a hard day I'd have a grey goose slightly dirty martini w 3 blue cheese stuffed olives but now its a LARGE bottle of poland springs

5 more weeks...I got this!!!

Love this thread, even though I feel like I'm late to the party!

FirstMate - I could have written your post verbatum! We've been in the same boat all along! Totally feel you on the hiccups and unending "to do" list!

Overall, I do love being pregnant... don't get me wrong, but I have a few to add:

I am so done actually dreading going to sleep because I know it won't bring any "real rest" since I'll just be uncomfortable and have to pee every 2
hours - and battle thigh pain all night.

I am done feeling like I've been KICKED in the vajayjay 18 thousand times - barely able to move by the time night comes! And in agony pain simply trying to put my PJ pants on! And almost in TEARS climbing into my high as hell bed that feels like it gets higher every night!

I am done feeling like I have a bloody nose and not being able to breathe through my nose each night.

I am done - and I never thought I'd say this - NOT working out! I feel like everything I put in my mouth is going right to my thighs!

I am done with people telling me to enjoy bedrest while I can because I'm not going to get any rest once baby is here. Shut up! Just because the word "rest" is in "bed rest" doesn't mean I'm getting ANY quality rest at all!

I am done not being able to have a margarita - or Italian hero.

I am done not being able to go on any type of vacation or to any parties or even to a Yankee game. This will be my first year since the late 80's that I never made it to a game!!

I am done being so clumsy lately and dropping EVERYTHING when it's the hardest ever to pick things up!

I am done peeing myself whenever I cough or sneeze, after trying EVERYTHING in the book to work my kegals.
