shower raffle idea!
so just thought I would share what my mom is doing for my shower...thought this might help you ladies esp the twin mommies! we got the idea from another twin mom.
so my mom added a poem in the shower invitation basically saying that the guests bring a pack of diapers to the shower then they will get a raffle ticket towards prizes. Each pack of diapers gets you one ticket. She will then raffle off a 1st, 2nd, 3rd place prize. I am not sure what gifts she is doing, but the person who gave us the idea said she did Amex gift cards.
That way people will bring lots of diapers and you will be stocked up. At 5 months the twin mommy said she still hadn't bought diapers because of her shower!
(and if you get diapers that don't fit or you don't like the brand...she said it has been easy to exchange them)
just thought I would pass along the idea
