20 week sonogram?
I am going for my Level II sonogram on July 18. I will actually just be 19 weeks. Do they do any parts of the sono in 4D? I have heard some people say that they have had this done by their dr. for this sono. I know you can pay to get it done at another place. But I was just curious how the Level II is done.

i had my level II sono done at LIJ and they tried to do a 4D but our little  was moving too much for it to even come out clear.

I did not get any with my sono. She said it was usually done later in the pregnancy.

my little girl wasn't cooperating so they turned on 4d for like 2 minutes...she did give me pics of it which was cool. We didn't get to see the little boy in 4d though.

I had mine at NS manhasset and the tech was amazing she did the 4d and got so many pictures! she also said she likes to use the 4d when looking at the heart because then she can see all the chambers and blood flow! absoutly amazing!!!! mind you the doc came in to complete the visit and wasn't as good as her at getting pictures! ha!

I got some 4D pics b/c my LO wasn't cooperating and flipping over. It was not the best circumstance to go for another eval, but the outcome was great and got to see LO in 4D

I think it really depends on the place. I had my level II done outside of my OB's office at Huntington Hopsital. They tried to get a 4d shot but DD was not cooperating. It doesn't hurt to ask them if they can turn it on for you.

I was able to get a 4D of my baby at the level 2, but they do not always offer it. I got it done at NS Manhasset and i know someone who went last week and she did not get 4D, but they did it for me. It doesnt hurt to ask when you go!

my doctor does the level 2 at their office. they did turn on the 3d. she turned it on for the NT scan also and for another sono i had at my first appointment. i dont think its the norm, i think it depends where you have it and who the tech is. my doctors office just happens to have an awesome 3d/4d that everyone there loves to play with
