Midwives that take the Empire Plan?
I'm not pg again, I swear... but I'm planning ahead. We're under DH's insurance now. The midwife (and her partner OBs) I uded for DD's birth are out of network. I may or may not go back to work before getting pregnant with #2, and really want a VBAC if possible. Anyone know of any midwives that take the Empire Plan?
eta: I'm in central Nassau, but would drive more or less anywhere.

Yup! They do that's what I have, they have a north shore office as well as a south shore one.

I have called around and all the midwives seem to be out of network. I think stonybrook midwives are also out of network but I'm not sure. They are a little too far for me so i didn't call them.

This could be bad. What about a natural birth-friendly OB?
If the SB midwives are in network, I'd go there. My parents are close by, so I could sponge dinner off of them

The Gaia Midwife Group takes Empire. I used Dale Cook.

I have NYSHIP Empire plan and I had to leave Stonybrook Midwives because they were OON.

Re: Midwives that take the Empire Plan?
Gaia is out of network.. I just got billed from Empire and the billing is all screwed up.. It should be 80% .. I am like worried I owe more out of network now.. Do yourself a favor and stay in network..
