i am dying
i have been so sick with a terrible cold for the past 5 days. My doctor said I could take Tylenol Cold which I have been but it does nothing. I have been using saline nose spray, staying hydrated, sucking on cough drops. Nothing is helping!! I am honestly worse than I was.
i literally feel like I am dying

I was where you were 2 weeks ago. I wasn't allowed Tylenol Cold. BUT The NETI POT saved my life! I did this up to 5 times a day and my head felt better immediately!

The last time I was sick (early in 1st tri), I tried the neti pot and it really works!!
I also use baby vicks at night, a saline spray while I had to be out of the house, regular strength tylenol if I needed it.
If my sinuses were hurting, I would sit with a cold washcloth on my face to stop the pain.

this was me just a few weeks ago. I was even sleeping sititng up because when I laid down on my side I COULD NOT breathe. Have you asked if you can take sudafed? For some reason that helped me.

I had this in my 1st trimester. Dr said it was ok to take Sudafed. I hope you feel better!!

Agree re the neti! the other things that helps me is boiling water, putting it is a bowl and breathing it in with a towel over my head. Sometimes I add oil- lavender or mint. If I am feeling too lazy to use the neti, I use simply saline spray, which is an aerosol saline spray.
