Ugh -Sick! OB Nurse said no Tylenol Cold
So I was at a baby shower all day yesterday sitting outside in the freezing cold. I woke up today feeling like a huge piece of death.
I called my OB and the nurse said I should not be taking Tylenol Cold it's bad enough I can't take my trusty Advil Liquid gels, now this get's taken away from me 
But instead I should be taking this:
Cool Mist humidifier
Nasal Spray
Robitussen (regular)
Tylenol X Strength.
To me these items = garbage.
My question is - would any of these remedies actually make me feel better? I would rather not take anything if it won't help and just suffer.

I know it sucks!! Just got over one.
Use the saline nasal spray. It will clear you out. You have to use it repeatedly but its totally safe and at least you can breathe.
DEF get the humidifier!
Tylenol wont do sh*t..If your coughing plain Robittusen is ok but its not really gonna help!
Hang in there and feel better. Colds when pregnant SUCK

that was one of 3 things my Dr. said was okay! i took mucinex-d.

My OB says its ok BUUUUT it was recalled and I'm not sure if its back on the shelves yet.
The last time I looked was a couple of months ago.

i didn't take it. I did the neti pot and it helped a little.

The nasal spray really helps.
I used Vicks vapor rub both last pregnancy and this one...some docs don't recommend and other's are like in moderation. That helped me though.
Rest also helps me but with a 1 yr old that runs...not just walks it was hard when I got sick.
