Ugh, darn cold sores!
Ugh, the second one in two weeks is trying to rear it's ugly head!  My doctors all said my Valtrex pills were fine to take, so I took one, let's hope for the best. These darn hormones!!! I hope this doesn't last happen during my whole last trimester!!!

I had them with Jules in the second trimester-It was so gross-I get mine in my nose-I get it every time I get a cold. I thought it would never go away.
It's from all the stress on your body.... get as much rst as you can and try to keep your immune system up...

Thanks ladies! I know it could be worse, but it's so frustrating! I've had them for years & years and know what to do & what not to do to try to prevent them, but it doesn't matter lately. And although 3 doctors have assured me taking the Valtrex pills is completely safe, I still hate taking them, but I do.

i get them occasionally too - i hate them! i was getting one a week or so ago and took 1 pill and put ointment on it = it helped so far...

Man, misery loves company, huh? 
5 or 6 so far? Ugh, I have something to look forward to, huh? I think this is maybe my third, but the first I caught early enough and it never developed!
I'd call your Doc, have them call in a refill to the pharmacy!!

For those of you who take the Valtrex, do you take 1 pill or 2 pills a day? My Rx has always been to take it twice a day, and the Drs. have said 2 a day is perfectly fine, but I'm always nervous to take 2 a day while pregnant. But I could use it!!
